I absolutely adore South Africa with its diversity of cultures and of course the food that is prepared by our Rainbow country!
Sosaties are part of South-Africa’s culture as is biltong, milktart and bobotie. It is part of South Africa’s rainbow cuisine and is something that was inherited from the influence of the Malay and other Indonesian people that came to South Africa in the 1700’s.
These sweet chilli sosaties with noodles lean more towards Chinese cuisine, however. I grilled mine in the oven, but you can easily braai them over the coals if preferred.
